Certain features of the RFST Platform use your browser's localStorage to save your progress between sessions. This data never leaves your device through any action of the RFST Platform, and includes:

*The RFST Platform is an educational resource intentionally designed for users of all ages, with a specific emphasis for children ages 10 and older (Adolescent+ life-stages).
The RFST does not collect any personal information relative to any data submitted by or on behalf of children of any age, as it is explicitly advised and instructed throughout the RFST, NOT to submit, in any form to any extent, private, personal or financial information, within the RFST including that of a 'Survey' submission.
The RFST's interactive tools, including the Kids Savings Tracker, operate entirely within the user's browser and transmit no data externally known to/by the RFST Platform.
Attention Parents or guardians: As a result of this policy, the RFST Survey Form DOES NOT provide any designated input format for such information.
The RFST Educational Series acknowledges the FTC's 2025 amendments to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule (effective June 23, 2025). The RFST Platform collects no personal information from any user of any age through any interactive function of the tool, a standard that exceeds COPPA's requirements entirely.
Parents and guardians are legally and lawfully responsible for any purchase made on behalf of a minor user and by permitting a minor to access the RFST Platform, accept full responsibility for that minor's use in accordance with this Privacy Policy and all associated agreements.
The RFST Platform's privacy-first architecture is fully consistent with both the original COPPA Rule and its 2025 amendments, and its no-collection design renders the statute's operative requirements inapplicable to the Platform's interactive functions.
The RFST exemplifies a life-long experience, encouraging parents and guardians to supervise their children's use of the RFST as the child's tutor, coach and/or research assistant, and to review this Privacy Policy together.

The RFST's privacy-by-design architecture symbolizes our effort to maintain privacy protection of personal information. This effort includes the exclusion of the implementation or utilization of a central database, server, or cloud storage associated with user interactions. All computational processing occurs client-side within the user's browser.
External Connection Exceptions:
Article Analysis Tools: The Article Fact Checker and Enhanced Article Credibility tools do operate within your browser. When article text ONLY is pasted directly into the 'Credibility Analyzer' or 'Fact Checker', no external connection in any manner is initiated.
However, when a user explicitly chooses, via users own action, to submit a URL, the tool retrieves the article content from that specific user-submitted IP address, an action performed solely by direct user initiation.
Any AI-assisted analysis is similarly conducted externally by the user's own direct action, within the user's chosen platform, and is governed by that platform's own privacy policy. The RFST Educational Series has no involvement in, or access to, any such external session.
RFST R&D Site: Verified purchasers may be directed to the RFST R&D site (rfstrdupdates.netlify.app) for update notifications and research and development information resulting from Survey submission review. Access to this site is initiated solely by the user and constitutes a connection to an external resource. The RFST Educational Series has no involvement in any data collection practices governing that external session.

The RFST Platform does not integrate with third-party analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics), advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or data brokers.
User visiting sites representative of any referenced links (the RFST and any/all associative learning resources DO NOT contain any active EXTERNAL links) is governed by the respective site's privacy policy. We have no data-sharing relationship with any referenced external site. ANY referenced site is strictly for the benefit of the user relative to content source credit utilized by the RFST. All site source credits will aid the user when content confirmation and/or comparison is preferred.

Important: The RFST Tool itself collects no personal data. However, the purchase of any RFST product or publication is processed through a third-party payment platform. That transaction is an active, real-time business exchange governed by the processor's own privacy policy, not the Privacy Policy of the RFST Tool. Payment card and financial data is collected by and retained exclusively within that specific payment processor's systems. Order fulfillment data, specifically your name, email address, and order number is received by the RFST Educational Series strictly for the sole purpose of product delivery and update notifications, as described in the Platform Policy.
What the Payment Processor Collects
When you complete a purchase, the payment processor, not the RFST Educational Series, directly collects and retains the following potential categories of information as a standard condition of processing any financial transaction:
- Full legal name and billing address
- Email address
- Payment card number, expiration date, and security code
- Transaction amount, date, and purchase reference
- IP address and device/browser fingerprint
- Any identity verification data required by the processor
This data is retained by the processor in accordance with their own data retention policies, applicable financial regulations, and fraud prevention requirements. The RFST Educational Series does not receive, store, or have access to your payment card details for any reason, aligning with any circumstances or at any point in time throughout the purchasing process.
Order fulfillment data is retained for the duration of the active license and update eligibility period (the period commencing upon purchase and continuing for the life of the active product license, during which the user remains eligible to receive updates, corrections, and improvements to the Generational Retirement Preparation publication and its companion RFST Tool, and which terminates upon license termination, product discontinuation, or user-requested data deletion, whichever occurs first; deletion terminates this eligibility permanently and requires a new purchase for reinstatement), and is not retained beyond the discontinuation of the product or termination of the license.
Processor Selection & Current Status
The storefront platform selected for RFST product transactions is Payhip. Payment processing is handled through Stripe, with PayPal available as an additional payment option for buyers.

Because the RFST Tool itself does not collect or store personally identifiable information, most data subject rights (access, deletion, portability) are satisfied by default, meaning there is no personal data held by the RFST Tool to access, modify, or delete on your behalf.
Order fulfillment data received through the purchase transaction is limited strictly to name, email address, and order number, retained solely for product delivery and update notifications as described in Section 08. Users wishing to request deletion of their order fulfillment data may do so by contacting support@therealrfst.com.
Important: Deletion of order fulfillment data is permanent and irreversible. As order fulfillment data is the sole means by which the RFST Educational Series identifies eligible recipients of updates and improvements to the Generational Retirement Preparation publication and its companion RFST Tool, deletion will permanently disqualify the requesting user from receiving any and all future updates, corrections, or enhancements. Should the user wish to receive a current version inclusive of all updates and improvements following deletion, a new purchase will be required. This action cannot be undone.
Because we do not maintain a general user database, personal data on file is limited strictly to order fulfillment data as described above. Voluntary feedback correspondence submitted via Survey is not archived in any retrievable user-linked system.
Users in California may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. As a small sole proprietorship that does not meet the revenue or data volume thresholds required for CCPA applicability, and which does not sell personal information or maintain a general database of user data, the operative provisions of those statutes do not apply to our current practices.
Order fulfillment data received via the purchase transaction, specifically name, email address, and order number, is limited in use to product delivery and update notifications as described in Section 08. CCPA obligations relative to that data are governed primarily by the payment processor through which the transaction was conducted. Should our practices change, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Government-sourced data referenced within the RFST Platform (IRS contribution limits, Social Security Administration guidelines, Federal Reserve statistics, CDC/WHO age classifications) remains the property of the respective issuing agencies and is reproduced and source credited here for educational purposes consistent with public domain usage.

The arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis. You and the RFST Educational Series each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action. When you purchase access to the RFST Platform, you are purchasing a license to use the product, not ownership of the product itself. Ownership of all underlying software, content, code, design, and educational frameworks remains exclusively with the RFST Educational Series at all times.

- Access and use the RFST Tool and its interactive calculators, trackers, and tools for your own personal, non-commercial, educational purposes
This license is granted to you as an individual. It is not transferable to any other person or entity and does not extend to any organization, institution, or household beyond the individual purchaser unless a separate multi-user license has been expressly granted in writing by the RFST Educational Series.

The RFST Platform - including but not limited to all software code, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, interactive tool architecture, written content, visual design, calculation methodologies, educational frameworks, chapter text, and compiled outputs - is and shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of the RFST Educational Series, protected under applicable U.S. copyright law and international intellectual property treaties.
This EULA does not convey to you any ownership interest in the RFST Platform or any of its components. Your rights are limited strictly to those expressly granted in Section 01 of this Agreement. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by the RFST Educational Series.
The trade name RFST Educational Series, the title Retirement Preparation for Generations: Your Family's Guide To Savings Strategies, and the companion product name Retirement Fund Survival Timeline are proprietary identifiers of the Licensor. Unauthorized use of these identifiers in any commercial, promotional, or distributional context is prohibited and may subject the violating party to civil and/or criminal liability under applicable law.
Educational Use & Use by Minors

The RFST Platform is licensed exclusively for personal educational use. It is not licensed for commercial, institutional, classroom, or for-profit instructional use without a separate written agreement with the RFST Educational Series.
The RFST Platform is intentionally designed to serve users beginning at age 10. If you are a parent or guardian purchasing or facilitating access to this product on behalf of a minor, you accept full responsibility for that minor's use of the RFST Platform and their compliance with this EULA.
By permitting a minor to access the RFST Platform, you represent that you are that minor's parent or legal guardian and that you agree to this EULA on their behalf. Minors may not legally, independently enter into such a license agreement.

No user data, including data relating to minors, is created or retained by the RFST Platform's interactive functions at any instance for any reason. Order fulfillment data received through the purchase transaction is limited strictly to name, email address, and order number as described in the accompanying Privacy Policy, Section 08. This is consistent with the RFST Platform's privacy-first architecture as described in the accompanying Privacy Policy.
Updates & Modifications to the RFST Platform

The RFST Educational Series reserves the right to update, modify, correct, or enhance the RFST Platform at any time without prior notice. Updates may include corrections to IRS contribution limits, Social Security rules, interest rate benchmarks, or other time-sensitive financial data.
Your license entitles you to access the current version of the RFST Platform at the time of your purchase. The RFST Educational Series does not guarantee ongoing access to prior versions or specific features that may be modified or retired in subsequent editions.
Termination

This license is effective upon your acceptance/receipt of purchase and remains in force until terminated in accordance with the terms of this EULA, regardless of use or non-use. The RFST Educational Series will terminate this license immediately and without prior notice upon ANY breach and/or violation of ANY provision, by you the user/purchaser, of this/ANY agreement contained within the EULA, Terms of Use and/or the Privacy Policy.
Upon termination:
- The Book, Generational Retirement Preparation, can remain your source of/for retirement planning information. However, any and all rights granted under this EULA immediately cease.
- You must discontinue all use of the RFST Platform and destroy any downloaded or locally stored copies.
- Provisions of this EULA that by their nature survive termination, including ownership, intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, shall survive.
- Termination does not entitle you as the user/purchaser to a refund as the RFST Tool is a complementary component, i.e. companion element, of your purchase of the Generational Retirement Preparation book. Failure to abide by the terms which comprise, in all forms, and constitute the Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use and the End User License Agreements may subject the violating party to civil and/or criminal liability under applicable law.
- Until such termination is enacted as the result of any violation(s) of terms contained within any/all of the Agreements stated herein, any and all corrections and updates to the RFST Tool will be provided at no cost to you, the user/purchaser.
No Refund Policy

All purchases of the RFST Platform are final. The Retirement Preparation for Generations Book and its companion RFST Tool are provided as digital products and are delivered immediately upon purchase confirmation. No refunds, returns, credits, or exchanges will be issued, including but not limited to: accidental purchase, dissatisfaction with content, or termination of license due to breach of this EULA or any associated agreement. By completing your purchase you acknowledge and accept this policy.
If your file is defective or undeliverable, contact support@therealrfst.com. We will correct or replace it.
International customers are advised that digital product purchases are final upon delivery. By completing your purchase you confirm receipt and acceptance of the delivered product.

The RFST Platform is provided under this license on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The RFST Educational Series makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the RFST Platform's fitness for any particular purpose, accuracy of financial projections, or uninterrupted availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the RFST Educational Series shall not be liable for any damages, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive, arising from your use of or reliance upon the RFST Platform under this license. This includes, without limitation, financial decisions made on the basis of RFST Platform-generated projections or educational content.

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this EULA or the RFST Platform shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if the claim qualifies. The arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis. You and the RFST Educational Series each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Governing Law & Entire Agreement

This EULA is governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. This EULA, together with the accompanying Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, constitutes the entire agreement between you and the RFST Educational Series with respect to the RFST Platform and supersedes all prior understandings, representations, or agreements relating to the same subject matter.
If any provision of this EULA is found to be unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
